Waitomo District Council contractor McIndoe Group are planning to carry out water leak detection in Maniaiti/Benneydale starting this Friday, 19 September 2025.
Leak detection helps identify where there could be faults in the network and can also help determine where water loss is occurring.
The leak detection investigation will occur from 8am to 5pm and although there will be a temporary interruption to water supply, it should not overly disrupt or interfere with normal usage.
We also ask that you please conserve water as much as possible.

Public Notice Pursuant to Section 41 of the Reserves Act 1977 The Waitomo District Comprehensive Reserve Management Plan
The Waitomo District Comprehensive Reserve Management Plan was adopted by Waitomo District Council at the Council meeting on 27 June 2023.
