We (Waitomo District Council) are planning some drainage improvement works at the entrance to the Gallagher Recreation Centre carpark at the location shown below.

Work is proposed to start on Monday 15^th April,  weather permitting. All going to plan, it will be open again the following Monday 22^nd April.

The school and the recreation centre have been informed and we have checked there are no school holiday programmes or events running over this period.

Anyone needing access to this area can park in the top car park and walk down.
