Piopio Water Supply will be affected Thursday 10th July, approx 3 pm. WDC is replacing an old, leaking 100 mm shut-off valve at the bottom of Kea Street in Piopio. This relates to the ongoing search for leaks in the reticulation and the upgrading of the existing infrastructure.

A large portion of Piopio residents and businesses will be without water for a period of time until the work is completed.

WDC's contractor will work effectively to minimise the shut down of the water supply and they are working closely with WDC operators to manage the shut down period.

Flyers have been distributed in Piopio advising residents and business owners, of the planned work.
