Elections Voting Bins
Voting bins at the Te Kūiti Medical Centre, The Warehouse, the Library and Council main office will be removed at 4.30pm on Friday 10 October.
The voting bin will be available at the Customer Services and Visitor Hub on Rora Street from 9am until 12noon on Saturday 11 October - Election day.
Special votes will also be available on Election Day until 12noon.

Get Funding Information at Home or On-the-Go

Members of the Waitomo District Library can now access information from wherever it suits, with Waitomo District Council's new service to ratepayers.

Previously available through your local library, you can also access FundView and BreakOut funding information tools from any computer you use.  

FundView

Do you need funding for your community, voluntary organisation or club? 

With information on over 1200 grants FundView is the best place to get help with administration costs, salaries, building re-development, volunteer expenses, equipment, furniture and more.

BreakOut

BreakOut lists over 4000 scholarships and grants for individuals seeking funding for primary, secondary school, university and polytechnic study; research; fellowships; professional and personal development; and career change.

Follow these steps to access FundView and BreakOut:

Step 1

Go to: www.waitomo.govt.nz/library

Step 2 To Login use the barcode on your Waitomo District Library card.
Step 3 Choose: FundView or BreakOut
Step 4 Search for funding

 

Many funds are closing soon so now is the perfect time to get cracking on your funding applications. 

Once you are started, check regularly to see what’s new.  FundView and BreakOut are updated daily, with new funds added each week.
