Leak detection in Maniaiti/Benneydale

Waitomo District Council contractor McIndoe Group are planning to carry out water leak detection in Maniaiti/Benneydale starting this Friday, 19 September 2025.

Leak detection helps identify where there could be faults in the network and can also help determine where water loss is occurring.

The leak detection investigation will occur from 8am to 5pm and although there will be a temporary interruption to water supply, it should not overly disrupt or interfere with normal usage.

We also ask that you please conserve water as much as possible.

Winners of Resident Satisfaction Survey prize draw

Congratulations to the five lucky winners of a $200 grocery voucher from New World.

Residents were invited to take part in the Resident Satisfaction Survey during June/ July, with a chance to enter the prize draw.

Over 400 surveys were returned to WDC, a very good result. Thanks again to all those who took part in the survey.

Further information on the survey results will be provided in September and through the Annual Report process.
