UPDATE - 18 NOVEMBER
The urgent restriction for the Piopio Water Supply has been removed. The supply is back to normal status and the town reservoir has been replenished. 

Due to a burst pipe located on Piopio College property, the water level in the reservoir that feeds the town supply has dropped considerably overnight.

The water treatment plant is currently operating to full capacity and we are working to replenish the reservoir as soon as possible.

Piopio residents are being asked to conserve water. We will provide an update as soon as possible.
