Leak detection in Maniaiti/Benneydale

Waitomo District Council contractor McIndoe Group are planning to carry out water leak detection in Maniaiti/Benneydale starting this Friday, 19 September 2025.

Leak detection helps identify where there could be faults in the network and can also help determine where water loss is occurring.

The leak detection investigation will occur from 8am to 5pm and although there will be a temporary interruption to water supply, it should not overly disrupt or interfere with normal usage.

We also ask that you please conserve water as much as possible.

Notice of Impounding and of Proposed Sale of Impounded Stock

The Impounding Act 1955, Section 46(2)

The under mentioned stock has been seized at Corinth Ave, Te Kuiti and impounded at Waitomo District Council's Stock Pound, William Street, Te Kuiti on Monday 13 May 2019.

Description of Stock

• 1 pink and grey boar.

Notice is hereby given that unless claimed by the owner/s within 7 days of the date of the publication of this notice the stock will be sold by public auction on Friday the 31st of May 2019 at 9.00am at the Waitomo District Council Stock Pound, William Street or otherwise disposed of in accordance with Impounding Act 1955.
