Planned Water shutdown notice - Tuesday 17 February 2026
A day-long water shutdown will be happening on Tuesday 17 February from 8.30am to 4.30pm on Boddies Terrace, Wesley Terrace, Tawa Street, Matai Street, William Street and Anzac Street.  This is to allow council contractor Schick Civil to install a new watermain line. Sewage System Services (S3 limited), on behalf of Waitomo District Council, will be in Piopio this week servicing household septic tanks on Kuku, Kea and Moa Streets.

This will mean access to your property will be needed. A notice will be delivered to your mailbox stating approximately what day the visit may take place. We ask for co-operation with regard to ensuring animals are locked away if possible.
