ROAD CLOSURES - Mangarino Road and Gadsby Road
  • Mangarino Road is currently closed due to a slip from the recent heavy rain. The location of this is just past the Te Kūiti Cemetery and Reynolds Road.
  • We have been informed that a fully loaded milk tanker has slid off the road on Gadsby Road, and the road could be closed for some time to allow the milk tanker to be lifted back onto the road.
We apologise for the inconvenience this may cause and thank you for your understanding.

ROAD CLOSURE NOTICE: Takiri Road – 17 April to 16 June 2023

Takiri Road, south of Mapiu will be closed for a period of time to allow for forestry works to be undertaken.

The road will be closed each day from 7am to 5pm and will open each night to the public.

The closure will take effect from 17 April 2023 to 16 June 2023.
