Inframax Construction Limited chairman resigns
19 Dec 2014
Eric Tait has resigned as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Inframax Construction Ltd (ICL).
ICL is a roading construction and maintenance company wholly owned by the Waitomo District Council as a Council Controlled Organisation.
Mr Tait has taken the decision to resign due to the growing demands on his time from existing business and personal commitments.
Mr Tait advised the shareholder ‘The timing is appropriate to introduce another Director, with Inframax now positioned as a company with a strong financial position’
‘I would like to thank the shareholders for the opportunity to contribute to the future well-being of Inframax and I wish all my fellow Directors, management and staff well for the future’. says Mr Tait.
Mayor Brian Hanna commented “I would like to pass on a huge vote of thanks to Eric who, along with fellow Board members Earl Rattray and Craig Rowlandson, has overseen the recovery of ICL from a very vulnerable state, to a much more stable company today. I wish Eric all the best for his future endeavours.”
ICL’s Board will look to appoint a new board member in the New Year.
