Due to operational issues and the current hot weather, Piopio township will move into Level 2 water restriction from tomorrow - Friday 6 February 2026.
Water conservation measures are required to reduce demand on the water treatment plant. We ask Piopio residents to be mindful of their water use.

Please take care near Sheridan Street Bridge. There has been a washout behind Mitre 10. At this point only pedestrian access is mainly affected. The site has been made safe with orange netting fences and Council engineers are investigating. Thank you for your co-operation.
