SH3 temporarily open from Piopio to Mōkau
NZTA Update: 5.45pm, Saturday 5 July.

Due to slips and other weather related issues, state highway 3 has temporarily OPENED between Piopio and Mōkau. The road will CLOSE again at 7am 6 July.

Scheduled Road Closure: Te Kumi Station Road - 30 May 2021

SCHEDULED ROAD CLOSURE || Te Kumi Station Road will be closed on Sunday 30 May from 6am-6pm while Fulton Hogan undertakes work on the level crossing.
Work includes replacing sleepers and ballast on the track, and resurfacing the level crossing.

There may be noise, dust, vibrations and extra traffic on the roads during construction. We ask you to take care near the rail corridor and to observe construction safety regulations. We also remind you there is no public access to the train tracks.

The dates and times are weather dependent and may need to change at short notice. We apologise in advance should this need to happen.
