Takiri Road near SH4 is currently blocked due to a slip. Our crew is heading to the site now to assess the situation.

Waitomo District Roading Updates
As at 8am on 4 May, our roading crews are still working to clear slips and debris. Our road status remains unchanged. SH3 between Mōkau and Piopio is open under convoy arrangement during the weekend and nights.
