Waitomo District Waste Transfer Station Services

Waitomo District Council provides Waste Transfer Stations for the disposal of refuse and recycling, in the communities of Maniaiti/ Benneydale, Piopio, Marokopa, Kinohaku, Mokau/Awakino and Te Kuiti.

Since the implementation of the nationwide COVID-19 restrictions last year, our waste transfer stations hours have been reviewed and amended over time.

While we are still working under the relevant, mandated criteria, our current opening days and times will continue for the time being. They will be reviewed and adjusted to keep in line with any changes to the COVID Alert Level and staff availability.
