Waitomo District Council contractor McIndoe Group are planning to carry out water leak detection in Maniaiti/Benneydale starting this Friday, 19 September 2025.
Leak detection helps identify where there could be faults in the network and can also help determine where water loss is occurring.
The leak detection investigation will occur from 8am to 5pm and although there will be a temporary interruption to water supply, it should not overly disrupt or interfere with normal usage.
We also ask that you please conserve water as much as possible.
Tree felling is currently being undertaken at Motakiora/Brook Park in Te Kūiti, with some work happening near some walking tracks.
The park will be open, however over the next few weeks there may be areas that will be restricted as Council’s contractors will be following health and safety requirements for public safety.
Barriers and signage will be erected.
