The rates you pay allow Council to fund the services provided to you (for example) community and recreational services, environmental planning, solid waste collection and disposal, roading, water supply and treatment. To fund the services, Council uses a combination of rates, charges and fees. The Revenue and Financing Policy contains full details that determine how these will be calculated.
