💧 WATER RESTRICTION LEVEL 2 - PIOPIO 💧
Due to operational issues and the current hot weather, Piopio township will move into Level 2 water restriction from tomorrow - Friday 6 February 2026.
Water conservation measures are required to reduce demand on the water treatment plant. We ask Piopio residents to be mindful of their water use.
👉 What Level 2 restrictions cover:
💧 Reduce non-essential water use.
💧 Use sprinklers on alternate days between 6-8am and 6-8pm (e.g. even street numbers on even days; odd street numbers on odd days).
