Waitomo District Roading Updates

As at 8am on 1 May, our roading crews are still working to clear slips and debris. Our road status remains unchanged. SH3 between Mōkau and Piopio will remain CLOSED until at least Saturday 2 May.

Council open hours for 7 May 2026

The WDC Customer Services and Visitor Hub, Waitomo District Library and Admin Building will be closed on Thursday 7 May 2026 until 11am. We will still be available by phone on 0800 932 4357.
