State Highway 3 travel through the Awakino Gorge may be delayed on Thursday 15 December 2016, while maintenance work is done in the Awakino Tunnel. The work will be done with 10-minute delays under a stop/stop setup.

The contractors will have all materials on trucks and drive in and out as required to let traffic through at the end of each delay. So allow a little extra time in your journey and thanks for your patience.
