Internet
The Library provides free computing and internet access via the Aotearoa People's Network Kaharoa (APNK).

APNK laptop and desktop computers using the Chrome operating system are available for public use. They are made available on a first-come-first-served basis, with a session limit of 30 minutes (although users can extend this time if no one is waiting). When there are no computers available, a booking queue is available to allocate computers as they become free.

APNK also provides a free Wi-Fi network in the library during opening hours, which the public can access using personal devices such as laptops, smartphones and tabletss.

Electronic Resources
We provide electronic resources by subscribing to the EPIC suite. Through EPIC, libraries have joined together to buy collective access to tens of thousands of electronic resources. EPIC has approximately 16,000 full text titles available, along with tens of thousands of biographies, newswires, photographs and graphics, and much more.

Interloans

If an item or topic you want is not held by Waitomo District Library you may try to request it via interloan from another library within New Zealand. You can request an Interloan item if you are a registered customer of Waitomo District Library and by discussing your request with a member of the Library Team.

Photocopying and printing services

The library offers a photocopying, laminating, scanning and fax service. We can photocopy A4 or A3 in colour or black and white. Fees Apply.
