Heavy rain warning and severe thunderstorm warning

A heavy rain warning has been issued for Waitomo District and Taranaki and a red severe thunderstorm warning for part of our district Saturday night.  The heavy rain warning is valid from 10am Saturday 18 April to 9am Sunday 19 April.

The river levels are quite high currently and given the level of ground saturation there could be some impacts from this.
