Water shutdown due to leak

We have identified a leak on Rata Street and will need to shutdown the water supply to this area so that it can be fixed. Affected roads are: Mahoe Street, View Road, Broadfoot Place, sections of Mangarino Road and the top end of Rata Street. Thank you for your understanding.

Severe weather roading network update #5

Update as at 11:00hrs

Following the regional weather event, Waitomo District Council is assessing the storm damage impact on our local road network.  Our priority is to address areas where there are access issues and the school bus routes.  Please remain vigilant and drive to the conditions.  

The map below shows blocked and restricted roads (click on map to view PDF).
