Notice of Meeting - Piopio Wastewater Treatment Plant Community Liaison Group

21 November 2018 at 5.30pm

Pursuant to an Order of Court and approved Conditions of Consent for Discharge Permit 117290 dated 17 February 2011, the Waitomo District Council wishes to invite interested parties to attend the annual meeting of the Piopio Wastewater Treatment Plant Community Liaison Group.

The purpose of this meeting is to provide feedback and comment on environmental issues relating to the operation of the Piopio Wastewater Treatment Plant.

This meeting will be convened on Wednesday 21 November 2018 at the Piopio Hall, on the corner of Moa Street (State Highway 3) and Weka Street, Piopio commencing at 5.30pm.

Te Kuiti Memorial Service

Members of the Public and Service Organisations are invited to attend the Armistice Memorial Service which will be held at the Te Kuiti Cenotaph, King Street East, Te Kuiti.  The program is:

10.40am  Parade to assemble at The Lines Company, corner of King Street East and Taupiri Streets, Te Kuiti

10.45am  March from The Lines Company to the Te Kuiti Cenotaph

11.00am  Armistice Day Service and Wreath Laying at the Cenotaph followed by refreshments at the Les Munro Centre

Service Organisations, Guiding and Cub Members, and Members of the Public are invited to join the Parade.  Please assemble behind the RSA contingent.

Notification of mass and/or speed limits on bridges

Regulation 11, Heavy Motor Vehicle Regulations 1974

NOTICE is hereby given that pursuant to regulation 11(3) of the Heavy Motor Vehicle Regulations 1974, Waitomo District Council has fixed the following maximum mass and speed limits for heavy motor vehicles and combinations including a heavy motor vehicle on the bridges described hereunder:
