Kerbside collection service Te Kuiti

Tips for recycling with your Green Bin:

Place recyclables such as plastic types 1 & 2, glass bottles and jars, aluminium and tin cans in your Green Bin and place this on the kerbside. Stack and secure cardboard and paper recycling, and place these items next to your Green Bin.

  • Only residential volumes of recyclables will be accepted (same volume as green bin). Larger volumes of recyclables can be recycled at the Waitomo District Landfill.
  • Only WDC blue refuse bags will be accepted.

The Kerbside Collection service does not accept:

  • Dark grey refuse bags
  • Un-recyclable items in Green Bins.
  • Overfilled Green Bins
  • Recyclables in other bins.

Thank you for your support in reducing recyclable waste going to Landfill and for supporting our local environment.
