A section of SH3/Awakino Road between Hardy Street and Tynan Road in Te Kūiti will be closed to one lane on Monday 11 December to enable a Council contractor to repair a leak in our network.

Part of the road will be excavated to undertake the repair, and properties along SH3 may experience reduced water pressure or no water for several hours on Monday and possibly Tuesday next week.

We ask that you store water for your emergency use in case this eventuates.

The road will be closed to one lane with traffic management in place for the duration of the work.

The estimated time of work is three hours on Monday 11 December from 7.30am.
